Why do people access respite care?
- To relieve any social isolation experienced at home.
- For support at short notice when a carer unexpectedly needs to be away from home or needs a break.

- Assistance with medications
- Inclusion in all activities and bus trips
- Social interaction with people of a similar age who live at Glenview or independently.
Who can access the service?
- People who are over 65 years old, live in the community and have a carer (a family member or friend) who assists them to remain at home.
- Anyone who assists a person over 65 years old to help them to remain living at home.
- Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people aged over 50 years old.
