Assisting families and carers to take some time for themselves and recharge for a day, or for much longer.
Our day centre
We offer regular social support and affordable respite care that feels like a holiday. Convenient for carers and for clients, Bisdee Community Centre is open 24 hours, 7 days a week.
There are two great programs to choose from on weekdays.
- Our social outings are bus trips to places like New Norfolk, Richmond, Huon Valley, Mt Field and beyond.
- Our inhouse program has gentle exercises, craft, gardening, games and cooking. Lunch and refreshments are provided.
Your booking at Bisdee may be for a day program or overnight cottage respite care, or a mix of both. You may book well in advance, or have a need to book in an emergency situation. We understand, and will adapt to your circumstances.

Saturday Socials
Weekend bus trips with a social group of people. Destinations include op shops, markets, scenic drives and great spots for lunch.
Hotel Bisdee cottage respite
Offers short-stay accommodation and support for overnight or a few weeks. We are flexible and can work with you to support your situation 24/7.
You are welcome to join the programs at Bisdee Community Centre next door and enjoy some activities during your stay.
There is no minimum length of stay.
