About Our Volunteers

We currently have more than 25 active volunteers helping our community.

Our volunteers help with countless tasks such as bus driving, gardening, visiting residents, assisting with our activity programs, outings, playgroups and bingo.

Glenview volunteer roles are always well regarded within our community and will enrichen your life as well as the lives of the people you help.

We are always seeking passionate people keen to assist our residents and clients to fulfil the Glenview promise of a ‘better life now and into the future’.

Meetings, regular training sessions and social interaction are all part of the Glenview volunteer experience.

You will be fully supported and given all the information you need to make a great start on your journey as one of our valuable volunteers at Glenview.

Thinking about volunteering?
See what some of our volunteers are saying about their volunteer experience:
“I have had many enjoyable years volunteering in Merton in Glenview.
During that time I formed friendships with residents, that I really valued.
I will never forget them.” – Wendy

“All of my moments at Glenview are special, I love hearing funny stories, and having a good laugh.” – Sheila

“Volunteering at Glenview makes me pleased, happy and proud to make a difference in the daily lives of residents.
I especially like sharing my knitting projects with residents. These fellow knitters are happy to give me well needed advice!
My favourite volunteer activity is one-on-one visiting when you can really get to know residents better.” – Judy
