Volunteers

Glenview volunteers have been enriching the lives of residents and clients for the past 60 years

We currently have over eighty active volunteers aged from 12 to 86 years old! Our volunteers help with countless tasks such as bus driving, gardening, visiting, assisting with our Activity programs, outings, our Men's Shed, playgroups and bingo. Glenview volunteer roles are always well regarded in our community.

We are always seeking passionate people keen to assist our residents and clients fulfil the Glenview promise of a "better life now and into the future". Meetings, training, afternoon teas and a Christmas function are all part of the Glenview volunteer experience. You will be fully supported, provided with assistance and all the information you need to make a great start as one of our valuable volunteers at Glenview.

To become a volunteer at Glenview you will need to complete our Glenview Volunteer Registration Form and return this to our Windsor Street administration office. If you have any additional queries, please contact

Thinking about volunteering? See what some of our current volunteers are saying about Glenview...

All my moments at Glenview are special, hearing funny stories, having a good laugh. Sheila

Seeing the joy on faces, the laughter and the jokes, the achievements when they make or do something they thought they couldn't, the focus is on our residents and clients and that makes them feel special and loved.

I always wanted to do something in the community when I retired. When I saw the newspaper ad for volunteer drivers, I saw this as a way I could contribute. When an opportunity became available to help out in the Men's shed as well, I took that too! Barrie
