FOR GLENVIEW STAFF
Living with COVID
Glenview have worked hard to prepare for the opening of Tasmania’s borders on 15 December 2021 and ‘Living with COVID’. We’ve put lots of strategies in place to keep everyone safe if we start to see COVID cases here, and we’re confident that our staff are ready.
Given what we have seen outside of Tasmania, we have to plan for the worst, for example a COVID infection of a resident. We have considered the best way to provide comfort and support to someone who is sick, as well as making sure we prevent the spread of the illness throughout the facility.
Staff, visitors and contractors are required to wear masks at work. They must be surgical (not cloth) for staff and visitors. The white side sits on your face and the blue side faces outwards. Hook the straps over your ears, adjust the wire to fit over your nose and pull the mask down over your chin.
