A new year kicks off a new beginning!

Great excitement as the plan to create Australia’s first residential dementia village get underway!  The first step is to safely remove the asbestos in the old Telstra buildings in preparation for the demolition works and as you can see – that’s no small job.

Construction gets underway at the end of the year and the site will transform into a bustling workplace, bringing activity, life and investment into the area.  When the village opens in 2020, Korongee will offer 100 new jobs in the local Glenorchy community.
